Spray Before You Play! Sport Sunscreen

When the weather is right you love to be outdoors playing your favorite sport. There is nothing more exhilarating than feeling your body move the way you want it to. You push yourself ever harder and finally you to a score.

Most sports are best enjoyed in the great outdoors. There is plenty of space and fresh air. Another thing that there is, though is sun. The sun can have damaging effects on our skin, so it is important to wear protective sunscreen.

When you are actively engaged in a game or sport activity it is difficult to think about anything else. The last thing on your mind is the health of your skin. You might stay out in direct sunlight far too long than is good for your skin because of this.

Sport sunscreen is the best solution to the problem of spending time being active in the sun. You can apply it before you go into the sun and then again a short time after you have been in the sun. After that, you have good protection until sweat or water wears the sunscreen off.

If you use a regular sunscreen you can bet that it will wipe and wear off before you’ve really even gotten into your game. Sport sunscreen is waterproof and thicker and will stay on better during the extreme conditions we put our skin through during the game.

Waterproof sunscreen will provide a significant amount of protection, especially when swimming. Regular sunscreen will come off far too easily in the water. With waterproof sunscreen you don’t have to worry so much about it.

Although sport sunscreen is specially formulated to stay put while you exercise, it still needs to be reapplied regularly for maximum protection. This can best be done during breaks or in between games.

Keep in mind that when you play sports, your clothing doesn’t always stay put. For this reason you should apply your sunscreen even to areas that at first are covered by your clothes. Always apply your waterproof sunscreen under your swimsuit edges when going swimming to avoid a terrible burn in the most sensitive parts of your skin.

You can find sport sunscreen in all different brands and in different formulas. One of the easiest ways to apply your sunscreen is by spraying. This way you can get the lotion all over and simply rub it in.

Remember when you play sports that you don’t want to come home with a terrible sunburn that will put you out of the game for the next week. Applying a sport sunscreen before you play is the only way to protect your skin. Don’t forget to spray before you play!
